Puncture in the tread?
Many punctures can be repaired, which costs far less than a new tyre. A proper repair is done from the inside of the tyre, not with a plug pushed in from outside.
We take the tyre off the wheel, check the inside for hidden damage, and repair it to British Standard BS AU 159 if it's safe to do so. If it isn't, we'll fit a new tyre there and then.

Mobile Puncture Repair FAQs
Can every puncture be repaired?
No. Under British Standard BS AU 159, repairs are only allowed in the central part of the tread and within size limits. Sidewall or shoulder damage, or a tyre driven on while flat, means it needs replacing.
Should I pull the nail out?
No. Leave it in. Pulling it out can make the tyre deflate faster.
Can you repair a run-flat tyre?
Some manufacturers don't allow run-flat repairs, especially if the tyre has been driven on flat. We'll check your tyre and tell you.
Is a puncture repair safe?
Yes, when it's done properly to British Standard from the inside of the tyre.
Do I need to bring my vehicle to you?
No. We're a fully mobile service with no garage to visit. We come to you at home, at work or at the roadside.
